Meet Dr. Dylan Nguyen

Dr. Dylan Nguyen was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry with a minor in Business. He then returned to San Antonio to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, where he also completed his pediatric dentistry residency and Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry.

Throughout his training, Dr. Nguyen developed a strong passion for community service and caring for patients from diverse backgrounds. He participated in outreach programs that provided dental care and oral health education to individuals experiencing homelessness, Afghan refugee families, and Special Olympics athletes. These experiences strengthened his commitment to providing compassionate, patient- centered care to children and their families.

During his residency, Dr. Nguyen gained extensive experience caring for children in both clinical and hospital settings, including patients with special health care needs and medically complex conditions. His training encompassed comprehensive pediatric dentistry, behavior guidance, sedation, dental trauma, and hospital-based care.

Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received several honors during dental school, including the Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Health Scholarship Award and the Community Dentistry and Public Health Award.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, staying active, learning new things, and spending time with his partner and their Maltipoo, Cashew. After recently relocating from Texas, he is excited to call St. Louis home and looks forward to becoming an active part of the community.
