Dr. Matt Waite is a 2018 graduate of University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City and completed his residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Prior to dental school Dr. Matt obtained his Masters in Public Health at St. Louis University with a concentration in Biosecurity Disaster Preparedness.
Dr. Matt was able to utilize his knowledge both in Zambia where he created an HIV education program for young students as well as his time as a Captain in the United States Army where he established the COVID-19 response protocols for the US Military while on deployment in the Middle East. While completing his residency, Dr. Matt published his research evaluating if social determinants of health influence receiving timely dental surgery.
Dr. Matt was born and raised in St. Louis, graduating from Kirkwood High School, and is very excited to be returning to his hometown with his wonderful wife, Ellen. Dr. Matt enjoys playing tennis in his free time and was even the tennis coach for John Burroughs School while completing his Masters at SLU.
